Any prayers, great or small, of any shape, style, length, depth or breadth, at any time or in any place, in any language or just a groan, random, haphazard or carefully crafted and stylishly delivered, impromptu or read from a book, are all welcome and heap up as a memorial before the throne of grace (Acts 10.31). I remain largely housebound at the moment, but am improving.
Normal weekly post resumes tomorrow, God willing.
God bless you, fellow fighter, co-combatant!
Director’s health (30/05/15)
Well now I know and want to share because many of you stood with me back in 2007. The prostate cancer has returned and spread a little to a lymph node. They can’t do more radiation treatment but will reduce enlarged prostate in the operation and then treat with drugs.
Psalm 118.17 remains as true today as in 2007 and ever since it was first written – “I will not die, but live to declare the works of the Lord.”. Let’s stand and fight together again in spirit and prayer even if not in person. Just another mountain to climb and another giant to kill. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
God is able and willing … the power of His blood never runs dry.
Summer InnNews will be on its way, but there won’t be much in it that you don’t already know. Though there will of course be a new Relevant Question/Relevant Answer, and daily Prayer Calendar.
God bless you all so so much.
Brazil Ministry Trip: 25th March – 14th April 2015
Northern Uganda Ministry Trip
“Every prayer a powerful weapon…”
For the next two weeks I am requesting that you pray for our partner Milton Ogwal and myself and our ministry team in northern Uganda. We return to a town we first visited in 1995. As a result a church was begun there and has since grown and has started several other churches in the area. We will be gathering Christian leaders from all denominations from over the whole District for training and encouraging and empowering, and then holding open-air meetings to declare the truth of the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ. A daily scedule is attached for those of you willing to pray daily for us.
The regular posts will continue when I have returned to UK. Hopefully, we will be able to send some intermittent updates and reminders thanks to Evee Serwaa Kusi.
2 Thessalonians 3.1: Finally, brethren, pray for us that the word of the Lord will spread rapidly and be glorified, just as it did also with you;
Colossians 4.2-4: … praying at the same time for us as well, that God will open up to us a door for the word, so that we may speak forth the mystery of Christ … that I may make it clear in the way I ought to speak.
God bless you for partnering in this vital and valuable way with us, and to those of you who have supported this Ministry Trip financially.
